My main bike is a Schwinn Le Tour Sport, that I use for training, and getting into shape, but Im 58 yrs old, and I remember the good old days when Schwinn, and their cruisers ruled the road. When I saw the Schwinn Hornet I just had to have one, the bike is built like a tank, is as comfortable as my easy chair in the living room is, and the coaster break will stop you on a dime, and give you nine cents change back! While the original cruisers did'nt have multiple speeds, I feel the Shimano Nexus three speed system that the Hornet has is a nice touch, it really helps with the hills especially if your over fifty. When I bought the Hornet I had a rack, and a basket put on so when the wife needs some smaller items from the store instead of useing the car I just hop on the Hornet, bottom line this is a very well built comfortable, and good looking bike, and well worth every penny.
